Released 3 months ago
About
A supplier is sought to deliver a five‑phase project to assess and improve access to HPV self‑testing and cervical screening for women and people with a cervix who have experienced FGM, sexual abuse or other trauma. The work will explore accessibility with stakeholders; scope interventions used in other countries and review published evidence on effective pathways into and after HPV self‑testing, including support for those with positive high‑risk HPV results; map existing educational and informational resources and training in England for healthcare practitioners; engage practitioners (including cervical screening sample takers in GP and specialist settings) to assess trauma‑informed care competence and confidence and co‑produce any required assets such as e-learning or videos for inclusion in the NHS Cervical Screening Sample Taker Update Training; and trial selected assets and training with a small group of practitioners and evaluate the impact on reported competence and confidence.
