Tender: Bracknell Forest Council Reopening Home Care Support Framework (Fixed Rate) for 18+ Care
Released 12 months ago
About
Bracknell Forest Council is seeking suppliers to join a reopened Home Care Support Framework to provide home care services for adults aged 18+ in Bracknell Forest who meet the Care and Support (Eligibility Criteria) Regulations 2014 under the Care Act 2014. The Framework, originally commenced in April 2022 and expiring on 30 September 2027, is used to advertise, tender and award call-off agreements for packages of care; successful tenderers are expected to enter the Framework from January 2026 and will be able to bid for packages they can meet. This will be a fixed rate framework with an estimated value of new packages from January 2026 to 30 September 2027 of around £250,000 (subject to demand), and being admitted to the Framework does not guarantee any volume of work. Services cover a range of needs including personal care, discharge to assess and reablement following hospital admission, and support for individuals with complex or challenging behaviours; although the provision is for 18+, it is primarily a regulated activity for 65+ delivered by CQC-registered providers. Support for people with learning disabilities (supported living) is out of scope for this tender. The procurement will use the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contracts Regulations while maintaining the principles of transparency and equal treatment.
