About
UK Centre For Ecology & Hydrology awarded a contract to LI-COR Biosciences UK Limited for the supply of three LI-7700 methane analysers and mounting equipment for new eddy covariance flux station installations in Northern Ireland.
The instruments are required to measure methane flux data alongside water vapour and carbon dioxide gas concentrations for project 07977.
The LI-7700 was selected as the only sensor compatible with the continuation of comparable long-term measurements and the only option at this price point that does not require mains electrical power, which is unavailable at the remote field monitoring sites.
The contract value is £118,589.2.
