About
Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult awarded a contract to Alphatech Limited for the supply of a thermal cycling chamber, valued at AUD 93,980.
The equipment is intended to complement a shaker table (ICT-2018-021) for environmental testing, enabling sinusoidal and random vibration as well as high-acceleration shock tests for small to medium sized payloads.
The thermal chamber allows multi-mode environmental stress tests with the flexibility to use either system simultaneously and independently.
It will support R&D during collaborative and internal projects and provide potential commercial opportunities in compliance and pre-qualification testing against a range of standards for harsh environments.
