Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (Hand Sanitisers) for Healthcare Workers During COVID-19
Awarded 29 Mar 2020
About
Department of Health and Social Care (PPE) awarded a contract to Winner Medical Co., Ltd.
for the supply of personal protective equipment (hand sanitisers) to protect health and care workers from COVID-19.
The contract, originally valued at $21,354,000.00, was modified under PCR 2015 Regulation 72.
Modifications included a contract pause from December 2020 to February 2021 due to a shortage of private storage facilities in the UK, an initial extension from 1 March 2021 to 30 June 2021, and a value increase of $10,800.00 for replacement of expired packaging, bringing the total to $21,364,800.00.
A time-only extension from 1 July 2021 to 30 September 2021 was implemented due to supplier delays in obtaining ingredients.
