Supply of Peptide Synthesizer to National Physical Laboratory
Awarded 04 Oct 2020
About
National Physical Laboratory awarded a contract to CEM Microwave Technology for the supply of a Peptide Synthesizer system to automate Fmoc Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS).
The new system replaced an obsolete and slow model that produced complex crude peptide mixtures, hampering productivity in Biometrology.
The synthesizer is capable of fully programmable thermally and/or microwave-assisted reactions, enabling the synthesis of challenging peptide sequences that are not feasible via ambient temperature Fmoc SPPS.
The contract value was AUD 70,000.
