About

Durham County Council awarded a contract to Urban Intelligence Limited for the procurement of a comprehensive digital platform designed for land assessments.

The platform features a user-friendly interface, integration with existing systems and data, and advanced functionalities to transform land assessments.

The project rationalises the existing database of sites for Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) and migrates to a more advanced digital platform that allows improved public engagement.

The system enables more efficient and user-friendly processes for land assessment, broadening the existing site assessment from housing to include other uses such as employment, open space, recreation, and biodiversity net gain.

The contract value is AUD 153,000.
