Hayle Town Council awarded a contract to Phil Sinclair for site preparation, remediation of contaminated land, and construction of the Hayle Terrace Community Garden.

The project involves transforming the former Hawkins Motor Site, a disused and contaminated area, into a sustainable community garden.

The scope includes removal and treatment of contaminated soil, followed by a verification report to confirm environmental safety standards.

The garden will feature native and drought-resistant planting, seating areas, walking paths, viewing points, and street furniture such as benches, waste bins, and signage aligned with the Hayle Masterplan.

The contract value is £145,820.
