About

Bath and North East Somerset Council awarded a contract to Stride Treglown Limited for the redevelopment of the B&NES Council Waste Depot site at Midland Road in Bath.

The contract covers RIBA Stages 1 and 2 only, with the appointed design team tasked to take forward the outline consent for the Midland Road site (Site 6) into a reserved matters application, which must be submitted by mid December 2019 to preserve the outline consent.

Once the reserved matters application is approved by B&NES planning, the design team will also prepare a drop-in application for B35 to substitute a block with a building that exceeds the height restrictions contained within the outline approval.

The contract value is £201,475.
