About

Magnox Ltd awarded a contract to G4S Secure Solutions (UK) Limited for security personnel (manned guarding) services across the Buyer's and Cluster Members' locations, including Direct Rail Services Limited (DRS), Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL), and Radioactive Waste Management (RWM).

The contract, valued at £24,713,874, was conducted by the Shared Services Alliance as a call-off from the Crown Commercial Services Workplace Services (FM Marketplace Phase 2) framework RM6089.

The services are to be delivered in conventional offices, plant areas, and controlled area boundaries, ensuring safety, security, and regulatory compliance without reducing operational capability.

Additional services may include canine detection, car park management, helpdesk services, key holding, lock up/open up, patrols, event security, reactive guarding, and reception services.

Ongoing support for locations in care and maintenance states and increasing supplier autonomy are key requirements.
