The Ministry of Justice is seeking contractors to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (MWDPS) to deliver minor construction, maintenance and remedial small‑scope high‑impact works across the MoJ estate, primarily in prison establishments but also including courts, tribunals, Home Office controlled and corporate buildings. The MWDPS will also be available to Gov. Facility Services Limited and is organised into four headline lots (FM Maintenance Services; Project & Construction Works; System/Asset Procurement & Installation; Specialist/Miscellaneous Requirements) with further category subdivisions and an unlimited number of contractor appointments. Call-off contracts will follow Regulation 34 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, have a maximum value of £1,000,000 (with the majority expected to be under £500,000), and may use NEC Engineering & Construction Short Contract for projects or NEC Term Services Contract for maintenance, with consideration of bespoke terms for very low value works. The system will initially operate for four years with options to extend by two further two‑year terms (up to eight years), an estimated first‑four‑year spend of £296,000,000 (£74,000,000 per annum: £64,000,000 pa for project work and £10,000,000 pa for maintenance), and individual call-offs ranging from as short as 2 weeks to as long as 9 months (maintenance contracts may exceed one year).
