About
Leicestershire County Council awarded a contract to Imagination Childcare Services, Beaver Childcare Ltd, Early Years Alliance, and Scalliwags for the establishment of a standing list of crèche providers across the county.
The service enables parents to attend sessions or training while their children are cared for on the Council's premises, known as Children and Family Wellbeing Centres from April 2019.
The crèche services cater to a diverse range of service users, including vulnerable families such as those who are homeless or fleeing domestic abuse, as well as parents engaged in Adult Learning courses.
The standing list is divided into 7 Lots based on the geographical area of each of the 7 Leicestershire District Councils.
The contract value is £179,000.
