Awarded 16 May 2022
About
The University of Exeter awarded a contract to NOT AWARDED for the procurement of electrical components to build a test rig and demonstration hydrogen electric propulsion system at the Cornwall Marine Hydrogen Centre (CMHC).
The CMHC, part-funded by an ERDF research grant and based at the University's Renewable Energy faculty in Cornwall, provides independent expertise and testing facilities for hydrogen fuel cell electric propulsion systems for marine vessels up to 18m in length.
The contract, valued at AUD 50,000, supports the purchase, build, and commissioning of the test rig and demonstration system, which was required to be completed by the end of 2022.
