Ynni Teg Cyf is seeking a supplier to design, supply, install and commission rooftop solar PV, battery storage and heating decarbonisation works at Amelia Trust Farm, Five Mile Lane, Walterston, Barry CF62 3AS. The contract covers about 75 kWp of rooftop solar PV across the Sports Hall, Workshop, Llangennith House and Beaver Information Centre, battery storage co-located with each array totalling about 161 kWh, air-to-air heat pumps at the Sports Hall (including hot water for the showers) and at the Beaver Information Centre, and a 12 kW electric boiler at Llangennith House. Works also include removal of redundant oil boilers and tanks, export limitation, metering and monitoring, DNO commissioning forms and witness testing, and a bilingual funding plaque. The grid connection is 66 kW with a G100 export limitation; Ynni Teg will make the G99/G100 application to NGED for the Trust. The project is funded by a Welsh Government capital grant through the Ynni Cymru Capital Grant Programme and award is conditional on the Grant Award Letter. This is a two-stage appointment with Stage 1 for design and Stage 2 for supply and installation to proceed only after a written notice to proceed; the grant deadline is fixed at 31 March 2027 and practical completion is required by 12 March 2027. MCS certification is required for each technology, held by the tenderer or a named subcontractor. Joint bids and specialist subcontractors are welcome, and local suppliers and SMEs are encouraged to bid. Supervised site visits are available by appointment from 2 to 11 November 2026, clarification questions must be received by 12:00 on 12 November 2026, and tenders must be submitted by email to [email protected] by 12:00 noon on Friday 20 November 2026. The full tender pack is attached to this notice.
