About
The Environment Agency awarded a contract to Ricardo-AEA Ltd for the Outdoor Pig Farm Detection Project, an initiative to enhance agricultural compliance using advanced Earth Observation technologies.
The project uses high-resolution LiDAR and Sentinel-2 satellite data with deep learning AI models to identify outdoor pig farms and evaluate environmental risks linked to their operations.
