About

Rotherham MBC awarded a contract to Yorkshire Housing for the provision of handyperson services and needs, advice, and support services to enable older, disabled, and vulnerable people to live independently in their own homes, whether as owner occupiers or private sector tenants.

The service provides a point of contact for homeowners and tenants, promotes independent living, and delivers basic household security, maintenance, and repair tasks that individuals are unable to carry out themselves.

It also offers advice and signposting on support and assistance, including property issues, independent financial advice, and legal and welfare entitlements.

The contract value is AUD 75,000.
