Funding for Julian House Children and Young People Domestic Abuse Service in Bristol
Awarded 31 May 2021
About
Bristol City Council awarded a contract to South Gloucestershire Council for funding the Julian House Children and Young People (CYP) Domestic Abuse Service.
The service, originally delivered by the charity Survive and acquired by Julian House in 2018, provides support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse in the Bristol City region.
The funding, valued at £38,581, bridges the gap after previous Children in Need funding ended and was not extended, allowing the service to continue until the end of March 2022, after which the CYP element will be included in a wider commissioning process.
