About

Bracknell Forest Council awarded a contract to EW Beard Ltd for the expansion and refurbishment of Great Hollands School.

The project involved remodelling existing buildings, demolishing a link corridor, and constructing a new nursery block, six classrooms, and a new entrance and administration area.

An internal courtyard was infilled to create a group room, and the hall was extended.

The work included mechanical, electrical, and water service reconfigurations, internal remodelling, redecoration, new floor finishes, lighting, and data installations, as well as hard and soft landscaping for play areas and a new car park.

The contract, valued at approximately AUD 3,616,000, was executed in phases on an occupied school site from January 2016 to April 2018.
