About

The Department for Education awarded a contract to Ecroys UK for a process and outcomes evaluation of the Alternative Provision Innovation Fund projects at both thematic and individual project levels.

The contractor supported projects on self-evaluation, conducted qualitative case study research including surveys with pupils and parents/carers, and ran regular pulse surveys with projects and partner organisations.

The work also involved analysis of potential benefits of successful reintegration-focused projects and identification of opportunities for structured observation and/or videography.

Ecroys UK ran three events for funded projects and strategic partners to learn from each other and the evaluation, hosted two webinars to present evaluation findings to external audiences, and produced three 'what works' evidence briefings based on the Fund's themes.

The contract value was £283,140.
