About

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council awarded a contract to Good Things Foundation to procure an alliance approach to increasing digital inclusion in Stockport by encouraging residents to get online and improve their digital skills.

The Council provided set-up funding of £120,000, expected to be sufficient to establish the Alliance and initiate collaborative working across partners.

The Alliance will use the funding to work towards becoming self-sufficient as an organisation with its primary purpose to develop a collaborative approach to increase digital inclusion in Stockport.

No end date was provided as the work is expected to continue well beyond the initial funding period.
