Development and Maintenance of the TBEST Cybersecurity Accreditation Scheme
Awarded 31 Jul 2016
About
The Department for Culture Media & Sport awarded a contract to CREST for the development and maintenance of the TBEST accreditation scheme, which supports controlled, bespoke and intelligence-led security testing to improve resilience against cyber-attacks.
The scheme mimics behaviours of threat actors assessed by Government and commercial intelligence providers as posing a threat to Communication Service Providers, focusing on sophisticated and persistent attacks on critical systems and essential services, with priority given to systems identified by DCMS as systematically important.
The contract value is AUD 96,000.
