About

Coventry City Council awarded a contract to We Create Space CIC for the design and delivery of a bespoke positive action talent development programme aimed at empowering LGBTQ+ leaders within the organisation, in line with the Council's Workforce Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.

The programme was structured around six 90-minute interactive workshops combining theoretical knowledge with practical tools and holistic strategies for building leadership skills, influencing stakeholders, and advocating for LGBTQ+ employees.

It also included workshops for line managers and mentors from the Council's senior leadership team to educate them on the programme's philosophy and allyship, and an end-of-programme event for participants, line managers, mentors, and senior leaders.

The contract value was £25,000.
