About

Worth Parish Council awarded a contract to ETC Sports Surfaces Limited for the design and construction of a new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at the Recreation Ground.

The project is part of major improvements within the grounds, which also include a new playground, carpark, pathways, and landscaping.

The contract value is £150,000.

Funding for the projects will largely be from Building Contributions to the Local Authority, with additional grants and funding sources being sought.

Planning Permission is likely to be required for the MUGA, and the Council will submit Pre-Application advice during the tender process.

The sequence and timing of construction will depend on factors including Full Planning Permission and the proposed Playground and other planned works.
