About

Newport City Council is seeking a supplier for the construction of a new floodlit 3G artificial grass pitch at Tredegar Park Recreation Ground. The under-threshold open tender advertised via Sell2Wales and eTenderWales will deliver a facility to address identified deficiencies in junior football and rugby training provision across Newport. The project is identified as a key priority in Newport City Council’s Playing Pitch Strategy (2026–2036) and is included in the forthcoming Local Football Facility Plan developed in partnership with the Football Association of Wales and the Cymru Football Foundation.
