About

Welland Procurement awarded a contract to Geda Construction for the design and build of the Stapleford Enterprise Hub in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, on behalf of Broxtowe Borough Council.

The project, valued at £4,395,989.34, is a key element of the Stapleford Town Deal regeneration initiative, funded by DLUHC to support economic recovery post-COVID-19.

The Hub will provide additional office space, flexible creative space, and evening/night-time economy additions, while maintaining on-site EV charging and disabled parking facilities.

The contract was let under a Design and Build form, with the client's design team progressing to RIBA Stage 4.

The initial contract period is 12 months, with an anticipated commencement date of 1st April 2025.

***Insight: This award reflects the ongoing delivery of Town Deal-funded regeneration projects, where local contractors like Geda Construction often secure design and build contracts for community-focused infrastructure."
