Consumer Awareness Campaign Strategy for Online Safety Regime by OFCOM
Awarded 23 Oct 2023
About
OFCOM awarded a contract to M&C Saatchi World Services LLP for the development and delivery of consumer awareness campaigns over a two-year period.
The initial campaign will explain the online safety regime to the public and affected markets, emphasizing that it is not a content takedown approach and clarifying how the public can engage with the regulatory framework.
A potential additional campaign may target B2B channels to ensure approximately 400,000 platforms understand their obligations under the regime.
The estimated contract value is £400,000 for the full duration, including any extensions, with an estimated annual value of £200,000.
