About
Devon County Council awarded a contract to Resource Futures for community engagement work in Devon to encourage and support communities in setting up and running their own activities to reduce, reuse, repair, recycle, and/or compost waste.
The contract, valued at £472,000, involves delivering the CAG Devon Project across the whole administrative area of Devon, building on existing work and collaborating with other organisations and networks to avoid duplication of service.
The work supports strategic plans including the DCC Strategic Plan 2021 to 2025, the Resource and Waste Management Strategy for Devon and Torbay 2020-2030, the Devon Carbon Plan, the Public Health Strategy and Business Plan 2023-2025, and the Integrated Care Strategy.
