About

Birmingham City Council awarded a contract to St Basils for the provision of young person's emergency beds service via the P0795 Vulnerable Adults Rough Sleepers Council's Framework Agreement Lot 1 - Young People (16-25yrs).

The service provides emergency accommodation and support to young people aged 18-25 who are rough sleeping or experiencing homelessness, available 24/7.

It accommodates single individuals, couples without children, and those with domestic pets who have a local connection to Birmingham, in mixed or single-sex buildings, and offers time-limited accommodation for those ineligible due to immigration status for assessment.

Referrals come from commissioned Rough Sleepers Outreach Services and Birmingham City Council's Housing Solutions Service, including St Basil's Youth Hub.

Support includes needs assessment, coordination with health, addiction, and criminal justice services, and move-on planning.

The contract value is £169,931.25.
