About

London Borough of Hackney’s Adults Social Care Commissioning Service is seeking local hotels, B&Bs and guest houses to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide cost-effective emergency accommodation for Hackney residents with care needs. The council is moving away from spot purchasing and aims to establish corporate room rates, including discounts for longer bookings, for adults who have had a Care Act assessment and are awaiting their status to be processed or their own accommodation to be ready (for example due to renovations or other works). The DPS is split into two lots: Lot 1 – block booking of beds; Lot 2 – individual fixed rate per bed. This tender is separate from the Housing Temporary Accommodation tender.
