About

Devon County Council awarded a contract to MTI Technology Limited for the refresh and modernisation of its Corporate Backup Infrastructure.

The solution is designed to provide comprehensive, secure, and scalable data protection for both on-premise and Microsoft Office 365 workloads, addressing increased cyber threats through features such as immutability, air gapping, Zero Trust Security, and rapid ransomware recovery.

Key objectives include protection of all on-premise workloads, expansion of data protection to Microsoft 365 public cloud estate, scalability to meet capacity requirements, conformance to NCSC 3-2-1 guidance, indexing for quick recovery, monitoring software for detection and recovery, and flexible licensing for hybrid and future cloud adoption.

The contract includes implementation services, training options, and premium support.

The value for the initial 3-year contract term is AUD 670,000.
