About

Attain awarded a contract to Barnardo's for reducing bed admissions to Tier 4 CAMHS services in Essex.

Funded by NHS England and hosted by West Essex CCG on behalf of Essex commissioners, the short-term contract aimed to work with 150 families.

The contract was anticipated to last approximately 9 months but would end once the 150 families were achieved.

Barnardo's utilised its existing service in North East Essex and Suffolk, including staffing, technology, supervision, and data recording, to mobilise the service at speed and support the crisis team within the current CAMHS service.

The award was made on the basis that Barnardo's could provide this unique service within the timescales that the funding was available for.

The contract value was £162,510.
