Tender: Whole-School Body Image Training and Workshops – Council Public Health

About

The Council's Public Health team is seeking a provider to deliver an evidence-based whole-school body image training and workshop programme to establish body respect early in life and address concerns children and young people (CYP) may already have. The programme should promote positive body image, confidence and comfort in one's body, support healthy choices and overall wellbeing, and foster respect for diversity, self-esteem and movement for enjoyment rather than appearance. The supplier will deliver direct work with CYP, continuing professional development (CPD) for school staff, an offer for families, and bespoke training/awareness sessions for the Public Health team and key system partners such as school nurses and youth workers. The programme’s three aims are to upskill and enhance staff and partner confidence to support body respect, improve CYP attitudes and establish inclusive whole-school cultures, and provide parents/carers with information to support positive discussions and relationships with food and movement.
