West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking a provider to lead delivery and further development of the Mayor’s West Yorkshire Domestic Abuse Perpetrator service using the CARA (Cautioning and Relationship Abuse) Programme across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. The contract will run for up to seven years, supporting up to 650 perpetrators per year and associated victims where they are willing to engage. The programme will focus on first-time, standard-level risk perpetrators who receive a conditional caution and, where capacity allows, work with medium-risk perpetrators who received No Further Action (NFA) on a voluntary basis with successful voluntary completions recorded as an Outcome 22. The anticipated budget is £2.1 million across the full seven-year period if all extension periods are taken.
