Released 4 months ago
About
ReLondon and partner boroughs are seeking a supplier to deliver a two‑phase waste composition analysis (WCA) for the FlexFlats pilot, assessing flexible plastic collection options in purpose‑built flats with communal bins across three London boroughs: London Borough of Bexley, London Borough of Lewisham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The contract covers pre‑pilot WCA (7–26 September 2026) and post‑pilot WCA (late January/early February 2027) across up to 15 blocks (five per borough) totalling approximately 500–700 properties per phase, with pilots running late September 2026 to mid‑January 2027. Deliverables include detailed sorting to specified classifications (residual, dry recycling and separate flexibles where applicable, with target/non‑target and expanded subcategories), confirmation of permits and risk assessment, attendance at project meetings and presentations, potential material collection or itemised collection costing, use of one or more local sort sites provided by boroughs, and final close down in February–March 2027. The indicative budget is £60,000 including VAT.
