About

Walsall College is seeking a supplier for a lighting upgrade across its Wisemore, Broadway and Green Lane campuses. The existing lighting at Wisemore is largely legacy fluorescent and inefficient, costly to operate, increasingly difficult to maintain due to parts availability, and approaching end-of-life with rising failure rates. Broadway’s fittings are inefficient, near the end of their serviceable life and no longer provide optimal lighting levels for teaching, learning and operational areas, causing inconsistent illumination and increased maintenance. Lighting at Green Lane is predominantly outdated and inefficient, resulting in higher energy consumption, increased maintenance requirements and suboptimal lighting quality in teaching and circulation areas.
