About

Newry, Mourne & Down District Council is seeking a supplier to deliver the PEACEPLUS Cultural Programme 'Voices of the Land', a project exploring the cultural heritage of the Crotlieve area through local poetry and song. The programme will include a structured series of workshops, guided site visits, facilitated group writing sessions, and a concluding showcase event, with opportunities for participants to work with poets, musicians, cultural practitioners and local historians, and will produce a commemorative booklet to showcase participant work.

Insight

This could be valuable for arts and cultural organisations, community arts groups or practitioners experienced in delivering community workshops, site-based cultural activities and producing publications; key considerations include coordinating multiple practitioners and stakeholders, managing logistics for site visits and a public showcase, and delivering a high-quality commemorative booklet that reflects participant work.
