About

Procurement seeks a supplier for a virtual fence technology cattle collar system to be deployed in upland and semi‑upland conditions characterized by variable terrain, varying vegetation density and intermittent mobile network coverage. The system must be suitable for field deployment under these environmental and connectivity constraints and support cattle containment and management in challenging upland grazing areas.

Insight

This tender will be of interest to suppliers of virtual fencing and cattle collar systems with experience in rugged or upland deployments. Key considerations include demonstrating reliable operation across variable terrain and vegetation and addressing intermittent mobile network coverage through resilient connectivity or offline functionality.
