About

Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) is seeking a Project Director, Project Manager and NEC4 Supervisor with specialist knowledge of cultural buildings to lead and deliver RIBA Stages 3 to 6 for the Venue Cymru Futures Project in Llandudno. Plann Limited completed RIBA Stages 1 and 2 and produced the RIBA Stage 2 Report; procurement of the Lead Consultant/Multidisciplinary Design Team and Cost Consultant is complete, with AOC Architecture appointed and progressing through RIBA Stage 2. The project is split into two workstreams with different programmes driven by the client’s scheduling requirements and funding deadlines; construction for the workstreams is expected to be delivered independently while a shared project team will coordinate design and construction crossovers. The design for the auditorium and ventilation will progress ahead of the Culture Hub to support delivery of those works in 2027.
