About

Tower Hamlets local authority is seeking a supplier to deliver a Family Support Service providing advice and guidance to parents and carers of children and young people (CYP) with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) living in the borough. The service will support families—especially soon after diagnosis—by working in partnership with the Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Service (ASDAS) and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHs) to ensure families receive appropriate support at the right time and remain flexible to meet needs at different stages of a family’s journey. In 2023 Tower Hamlets had a significant proportion of pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), ranking fifth highest in England, highlighting local demand for ongoing family support.
