The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), is seeking suppliers for the supply and delivery of forage (hay and haylage), feed and supplements, and bedding and stable requisites to support the operational and welfare requirements of the MPS Mounted Branch. The requirement is split into three Lots (Lot 1: Forage; Lot 2: Feed and Supplements; Lot 3: Bedding and Stable Requisites) and suppliers may apply for one, multiple or all Lots, with goods principally delivered to the Mounted Training Establishment at Imber Court, Great Scotland Yard Stable and Hyde Park Stable. The procurement uses the Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, with Stage 1 an Invitation to Participate (assessment against published Conditions of Participation) and Stage 2 an Invitation to Tender for those who pass Stage 1. The anticipated initial contract term is three years with an option for the Authority to extend for up to a further two years.
