About

KBS Maritime is seeking a HV switchgear manufacturer to supply an 11kV 60Hz switchboard to replace an aging asset on the electrical network. The switchgear must be of a proven design and compliant with relevant aspects of BS EN 62271 and the equivalent IEC standards. Ideally the switchgear will be ENA compliant and available with an AFLR Internal Arc Classification, although switchgear that does not meet those additional requirements will also be considered.

Insight

This opportunity is best suited to HV switchgear manufacturers with proven 11kV designs and the ability to demonstrate compliance with BS EN 62271/IEC standards. Key considerations include demonstrating relevant standards compliance and, where possible, providing ENA compliance and AFLR internal arc classification, which may improve competitiveness.
