West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is seeking a supplier for 5 to 7 powerboat engines compatible with its SIT RescueQCraft 4700 water rescue vessels. The successful supplier must provide engines that fit the SIT RescueQCraft 4700 and deliver performance comparable to MOD4 capabilities, aligned with the UK Fire & Rescue Service’s Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator standards, to maintain local and national response arrangements. WYFRS also requires ongoing engine maintenance via an annual service contract and/or delivery of training to internal personnel to enable them to undertake minor repairs and routine maintenance.
