Highway Services is seeking suppliers for the supply and delivery of various highways materials and tools under a framework starting 18 December 2026 and running until 17 December 2028 with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. The framework supports in-house Highway Services operations from routine highway maintenance to town centre improvement schemes and is divided into three lots: Lot 1 – miscellaneous civil engineering materials (cements, drainage materials, manhole covers and gully grates, road marking materials and timber products); Lot 2 – site safety materials (cone signs, cones and barriers, danger lamps, footway boards); Lot 3 – tools and consumables (hand tools, wheelbarrows, buckets, replacement blades and sandbags). Materials are specified by performance properties and adherence to British Standards where applicable, and tools/consumables are specified by quality and compatibility with existing equipment. Delivery timescales and depot or site locations will be stated within the framework price list and reiterated on orders. Supply and delivery cost on the price list will be used to determine framework positions, and suppliers must provide a price for collection should collection be required.
