About

Sport Wales is seeking to appoint up to 12 experienced education consultants to a framework agreement to support and strengthen its delivery of PE, school sport and physical activity (PESSPA) across the education sector in Wales. Consultants will provide specialist expertise on professional learning, school and system support, programme delivery and evaluation to help ensure all children and young people have positive, meaningful and inclusive PESSPA experiences; this includes supporting practitioners, school leaders and partners, aligning work with the Curriculum for Wales (Health and Well‑being Area, physical aspect), promoting whole-school approaches such as Daily Active, and contributing to the development, review and sharing of Sport Wales digital resources and the CITBAG platform. The framework is intended to improve quality, consistency and inclusivity of provision, increase teacher confidence and competence, generate insight and evidence, and translate national strategy into practical delivery within schools.
