About

Schomberg Society Kilkeel (PEACEPLUS project) is seeking a contractor under the NEC4 ECSC Short Contract to carry out upgrade and refurbishment works, including mechanical and electrical upgrades and washroom system works, across multiple areas of an existing operational community facility. The contract is for works in occupied premises and covers general construction and refurbishment (refurbishment over 15K), scheduled for a 6-week period with a commencement date not before August 2026.

Insight

This opportunity is relevant to contractors experienced in NEC4 ECSC Short Contracts and with mechanical, electrical and washroom refurbishments in occupied community facilities; key considerations include managing works safely around ongoing facility occupation, coordinating M&E installations, and delivering within a tight 6-week programme with a not-before August 2026 start.
