About

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is seeking a contractor to carry out a full electrical rewire and install a new electric heating system at Annalong Community Centre, Glassdrumman Road, Annalong BT34 4QH. The centre has failed its Fixed Wire Electrical test and the existing heaters are old with replacement parts difficult to source, so the requirement covers the proposed rewire and new electric heating to the stated specification, including applicable design standards, particular requirements, and specified materials and workmanship.

Insight

This tender is suited to electrical contractors experienced in full building rewires and electric heating installations for community facilities; bidders should note the building has failed a fixed wire test and the existing heaters are obsolete, and must be prepared to meet the specification’s design standards, particular requirements, and quality materials and workmanship.
