Mourne and Down District Council is seeking a supplier for replacement of the existing distribution boards and associated switchgear at Greenbank Garage, Newry, to enable connection of two newly installed vehicle lifts that each require a 32A 400V 3‑phase supply. The current installation only provides a single 16A 400V outlet and the existing circuit breakers are obsolete, so board and switchgear replacement is required to meet current electrical standards. The two lifts are provided; all other materials must be supplied by the contractor, and outstanding remedial items identified in the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) must also be addressed.

This opportunity is suited to electrical contractors experienced in commercial distribution board and switchgear upgrades, three‑phase lift supplies and EICR remedial works. Key considerations include limited existing supply capacity, obsolete breakers, the need to comply with current electrical standards, and that the supplier must provide all materials other than the lifts.
