About

The council is seeking a supplier for refurbishment of the Haverfordwest Athletics Track to repair surface defects, subsidence and cracking and restore the track to the required performance standards so the facility can continue to support county sports for schools and the county athletics team. The existing track was originally cinder (built 1969), upgraded in 2003 to an all-synthetic 6-lane porous track with an 8-lane home straight and was believed to have had one refurbishment around 2013. The successful contractor must be Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) approved with the relevant athletic track approval, and all works, materials and construction methods must align with UK Athletics guidelines to achieve and retain a UK Athletics Level 2 Competition licence.
