Tender: Provision of Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme 2026–2029 – Cheshire East Council
Released 11 months ago
About
Cheshire East Council is seeking suppliers to deliver face-to-face school holiday activities and healthy food for school-age children and young people in Cheshire East under the Department for Education (DfE) Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme for April 2026 to March 2029. Providers must deliver enriching, physical and inclusive activities for ages 4–16 (and up to 18 for eligible SEND young people), provide nutritional and food education, and support families with appropriate signposting or referrals. Tenders are invited in two lots: LOT 1 for general HAF provision (including inclusive SEND provision that incurs no additional costs) and LOT 2 for specialist provision such as SEND and teenagers, with LOT 2 allowing higher individual session costings to reflect additional support needs. All programmes must comply with grant conditions, contribute to Cheshire East Council’s corporate objectives, and deliver quality outcomes and value for money. Subject to DfE approval and funding, providers may be allowed to offer small-scale October and February half-term programmes of up to 10% of their total offer.
