Tender: Pilot Delivery of Non‑Clinical Level 1 Parent–Infant Relationship Intervention for Families with Infants up to 2 Years
Released 11 months ago
About
KCC is seeking a suitable organisation to propose and deliver a programme of non‑clinical Level 1 Universal Parent Infant Relationship Interventions to test and pilot new ideas. The intervention must include creative group sessions that are interactive for parents/families with their baby/infant, facilitated group discussion including peer and mutual support, and one-to-one support and feedback to parents. The programme aims to help parents deepen the bond with their baby by encouraging two-way communication to support infant development, teaching coping mechanisms, tools, insights and techniques to understand baby/infant development, prevent impaired bonding, and promote positive parent and infant mental health and wellbeing. The pilot is aimed at families with a baby/infant up to the age of two, with creative group sessions offering early support for newborns/infants up to six months; families include mums, dads, new parents, co-parents, partners and carers who play a vital role in supporting parent–infant relationships.
